The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Higgins. He is an eight year old German Wirehaired Pointer who still has plenty of energy. He will need plenty of exercise and activity to keep him healthy and happy well into his golden years.  Higgins is ready to be your companion and be by your side as well as be an fellow who will love to go hiking, running or on any other great adventure outdoors. He was previously an outdoor dog so will need someone to help guide him in the ways of indoor living. You can meet him at our Westside Adoption Center inside Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave, Portland 503-245-4363. Visiting and adoption hours are 10 to 6 on Monday-Friday; and 10 to 4 on Saturday-Sunday. Come meet Higgins today!

Higgins's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
