Helmuth is a sweet and handsome fellow. Because of his size, 76 pounds, he might be best with older children. Come visit him today!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Helmut. He is a handsome, strapping six year old Doberman. Helmut is a sweet and loving fellow who can't wait to find his new best friend in life. He will need to go home without dogs or cats. Helmut would enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. He would like to go home with older, mature dog savvy children due to his age and size. We recommend someone with breed experience for Helmut. He will make a great companion and his handsome face and endearing personality will capture your heart and make you ask yourself how you ever lived without him. You can visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends at 6:30 on Sunday-Wednesday and at 8:30 on Thursday-Saturday.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
