Helga is the Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day. She is an older kitty that is a bit of an introvert and a true homebody! And she is just waiting for someone to cuddle with. Helga could be just the little friend that you seek. She is a timid and quiet (but exceptionally sweet) ten year lady who would really just like to find a gentle person to bond with. She finds the shelter very overwhelming and is anxious to find her new family. Her ideal home would be one without other pets or young children, quiet, and indoors only. In her previous home, she enjoyed giving kisses, snuggling in bed, and getting pets. Could Helga be your kindred spirit? You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Her special senior adoption fee of $12 includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
