The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Harley (shelter #139977). He is a Labrador/Siberian Husky mix. He is ready to be your companion and a great playmate. Harley is a handsome dog looking for an active home. It will be essential for Harley to find a companion that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated. His enthusiasm and excitement for life is endearing but will need to be channeled into rigorous activities. He already knows some commands and would benefit from continuing work on basic manners. Harley will need a home with no cats or other dogs. Harley has no problem speaking his mind, so his new owner should enjoy a vocal dog. He would do best in a home wherein there are a lot of people that he can pal around with, and where someone is home most of the time. Do you have a place in your heart and your home for this special boy? A training consultation is included prior to Harley's adoption. You can meet him to day at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day.

Harley’s adoption fee includes spay neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
