Happy (110902) is the Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day. He is a two year old Miniature Poodle who came to the Oregon Humane Society through our Second Chance program with the LA Baldwin Park Animal Shelter. Despite his small size, he is more than a lap dog and will still require regular exercise to ensure he is the happiest and healthiest he can be. Happy walks well on a leash and is eager to explore the neighborhood with his new people. He may be very small but he is not a child's toy. Happy needs a home with children old enough to respect him and his need for time to himself when desired. He likes cuddling and petting but on his own terms, Happy is sensitive about having his feet touched. If you have a resident dog you must have a pet meet at the OHS prior to adoption. You can meet with Happy at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
Happy's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
