Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Gracie. She is a seven year old Spaniel/Papillon mix. Gracie may be tiny but her heart is HUGE! Gracie is a petite, affectionate little girl that wants nothing more than to be right by your side, or better yet, in your lap! She is hoping you will be her new best friend. Gracie enjoys being brushed, she enjoys lying next to you while you watch TV or read a book, and she enjoy playing with her toys. She has lived with dogs, cats and children in my previous home and did well, except some cats scared her. Now that she is getting a bit older, she may do better with older children. Gracie may bark when left alone so she will not do well in an apartment setting. Also she will need to be on a schedule for my potty times or she may have accidents. All Gracie really wants is for someone to love her and to have a lap for her to sit on or to be next to. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Gracie’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
