The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Goldy. This lovely red tabby is a reserved and quiet girl searching for a home that fits her disposition. Goldy is loving and can be quite playful - one of her favorite pastimes is chasing bugs - but for the most part she is a mellow and shy lady. She has lived with other cats in the past and seemed to enjoy their company. Goldy would do best in a quiet home with adults. Ask to meet Goldy today and let her add some shimmer to your life.  You can meet her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat.  Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Goldy’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days of PetPlan health insurance and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. The Oregon Humane Society’s Adoption Special of Two Cats for the adoption fee of one continues indefinitely.

Cats are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here they all live in "colony rooms" with their fellow felines. Dogs are available at this location also.  They spend their days in a large group area with other dogs. Viewing and adoption hours for cats and dogs are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday.
