The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Gizmo. He is a two year old Corgi mix. Settling into a new home and lifestyle takes time for a lot of dogs, and Gizmo will be no exception. However, if you are willing to give him the time to become familiar with you and your routines, we think you will be more than happy with the outcome. Gizmo is easily overwhelmed and is not fond of over handling. He will do best in an adult only home or one with older dog savvy children. A home that is low traffic and will provide a calm, consistent environment is also best. Gizmo one of the lucky ones who came from Baldwin Park L.A. to us through our Second Chance Program. A training consultation is included prior to his adoption. Come visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
Gizmo’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
