Ginger would like a quiet environment to live in and has lived with other cats before so might enjoy going home with one of her friends from Betty's Playhouse!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Ginger. This beautiful lady is one and half years old. She is a sweet and at times affectionate kitty but is quite apprehensive in new situations. She can be shy at first and loud noises frighten her easily so a quiet home would be best for her so that she can settle in to her new home comfortably. Older, more cat experienced children would also be recommended as well due to her nervous and independent temperament. Once Ginger is comfortable and in a quiet environment she can be quite loving, but only after she's learned to trust her friends. Ginger has lived with other cats before and would probably enjoy a feline friend to go home with. Are you ready for a new furry best friend?

You can meet with Ginger at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
