This pretty gal may take a while to get used to a new home. She has lived with other cats and may do best with a feline friend. GInger is frightened by loud noises, so older children or only adults will be best for her.

Ginger is a sweet and at times affectionate one and half year old kitty and she is quite apprehensive in new situations. She can be shy at first and loud noises frighten her easily so a quiet home would be best for her so that she can settle in to her new home comfortably. Older, more cat experienced children would also be recommended as well due to her nervous and independent temperament. Once Ginger is comfortable and in a quiet environment she can be loving, but only after she's learned to trust her friends. Ginger has lived with other cats before and would probably enjoy a feline friend to go home with. She is currently living with other cats in Parkers Place at the Oregon Humane Society.  Are you ready for a new furry best friend? Won't you give Ginger a chance? You can meet with her at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy Veterinarian exam and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
