Fu Manchoo: Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day

Fu Manchoo: Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day

The great fellow thinks he's in charge. He's an older fellow who likes attention on his own terms so will do best in a home with adults or older children who are satisfied with letting him come to them. He loves having his handsome coat brushed. He did live with a shapei at one time and they were great friends. He must be the only cat and live indoors.

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Fu Manchoo. He is an older gentleman who has a zest for life. He will try to win you over with his sassy charm, beautiful coat (which he loves to have brushed), or his loving head-butts, and if that doesn't work there is always that face! He is politely opinionated and likes to decide when he wants to be affectionate. Fu Manchoo is FIV+ so needs to be the only cat and must be kept indoors. A home with adults only or older children would suit him best due to the fact that he appreciates his space from time to time, but he was once good friends with a sharpei dog and perhaps even thought himself to be one!

You can meet with this great fellow at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are Sun-Wed 10-7 and Thurs-Sat 10-9. Adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30 and Thurs-Sat 10-8:30.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
