Freckles (7592) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.

Freckles is a six year old Border Collie / German Shorthaired Pointer mix. She is a sweet, smart, and tolerant girl who must be the only dog in her new home. She appears to have been well-socialized with people and seems to love everyone she meets! She will lean into you for petting, snuggle up close, and might even sit on your lap if you let her. If you are an active person or family looking for a loving and loyal friend, look no further. Jogging, hiking, or agility are just some activities that she might enjoy. Because of Freckles' exuberance, OHS staff are recommending a home with older children. Freckles already knows her basic commands and she walks well on leash using a front clip harness. A training consult is included with her adoption to help you integrate Freckles into your home. The noise and activity at OHS have been overwhelming for Freckles but once she is out of her kennel she is the biggest sweetheart around. If you are looking for an athlete with a heart of gold, Freckles is the one!

Freckles' adoption fee is $85, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information.  All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption.  Visit Freckles at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call 503-285-7722 for more information.
