Frankie is a very shy little one year old Dachshund mix. He will do best in a quiet adult home. With lots of TLC and treats he has the potential to become a happy member of your family. A training consult comes prior to his adoption.

Frankie is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day. He is a one year old Dachshund mix who is shy and may take some time to show you how great he really can be. Once he feels secure and has spent time with you he enjoys sitting on your lap and going for lots of walks in the neighborhood. Frankie also enjoys the company of other dogs who are respectful of his boundaries.  This little man will need to find an adult only home can provide him with a quiet environment. His owners will need to be patient and understand that it may take some time before Frankie opens up. He will need lots of positive encouragement such as treats, toys and walks.  Frankie is an incredible canine and has the potential to be your best buddy. A training consult is included prior to Frankie’s adoption. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Monday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one hour prior to closing.

 

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption
