Firecracker is a handsome fellow and may be a bit shy at first but likes to hang out with his friends, and may have a bit of an an independent streak! He may do best in a home with older children.

The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Firecracker (shelter #755305). He is a big boy with a big heart. He is generally easygoing and makes a great buddy to lounge around with. He has a slight independence and curious energy. Firecracker currently is living with other kitties in Marios Mansion at the Oregon Humane Society and he seems to be getting along with the others there. He gives champion headbutts when he wants attention and will warm your heart when he gazes into your eyes. Firecracker is excited to find a loving family to call his own. Firecracker can be a little shy at first, and may do best in a home with older children. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 - 9 on Wednesday - Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing.

The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
