The Oregon Humane Socieity's Dog of the Day is Fancy Pants (shelter #140378). She is an eight month old Corgi mix looking for a patient and loving home. She can be shy when first meeting people or in new environments, so it's important to go slowly with her. She will need someone who can provide her with daily exercise (rain or shine) and training classes to help build her confidence. Fancy Pants will do best in a home with older children as she can be uncomfortable around young, active kids. A training consult is included prior to her adoption. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Her adoption fee includes microcchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
