The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Fabian. Fabian is a distinguished older gentleman looking for a new place to call home. He is a complete love bug and enjoys lounging around. Unfortunately we do not know a lot about his previous history so it is unknown if he would get along well with other pets or not. Because of his easy going temperament we think he might be more tolerant of children. Fabian is a gentle giant (14 pounds!) who deserves a new loving home where he will be worry free. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are Sun-Wed 10-7; Thurs-Sat 10-9. Adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30; Thurs-Sat-10-8:30. *His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. Adopt any adult cat or kitten and take home a second cat or kitten FREE! Due to popular demand, this offer has been extended indefinitely. *Brighten up your spring with a furry ray of sunshine from OHS. From April 12 through Saturday, April 19th every adult dog and cat who is one year old or older will have their adoption fees reduced by half! Start looking at little rays of sunshine here. Cats are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club located at 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here they live in “colony rooms” with their fellow felines. Dogs are also available at this location. If you want to know if your best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit. Oregon Humane Society dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs a doggie day care facility. Adoption and viewing hours are 10-6 on Monday- Friday; and 10-4 on Saturday-Sunday.
