Franklin (107469) is the Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day. He is one year old Chihuahua who has been a bit shy, but during his time at the OHS he has been comming more and more outgoing. Franklin really wants someone he can bond with who will love him even if he doesn't come out of his shell around a lot of people. he came from California where it doesn't rain much so may feel more comfortable with a sweater and a warm lap to sit on after going on walks. Even though Franklin might be a little dog (only six pounds!), he is not a child's toy and would be afraid of their noises and sudden movements. He just wants a nice single person or couple who will give him all their love. Franklin came to OHS from Balwin Park LA Shelter through their Second Chance program to help him find a forever home. You can visit with Franklin at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org. His adoption fee includes n9euter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy vet exam and plent8y of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
