The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Emme (shelter #86394). She is a gorgeous four and half year old medium haired tortiseshell lady who is curious to meet that new special someone in her life. She has a shy disposition and would thrive in a quiet environment with no small children or loud noises. She can definitely be a lovebug, but she only shows that side of herself to the select few who earn her trust. Once she's been given time to adjust to her new environment, she likes to lounge by the window and on laps on occasion! She takes pride in her beautiful coat and can often be seen grooming it to keep it looking its best. Invite Emme into your home and your heart and make a friend for life! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland, 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are Monday-Wednesday 10 am to 7 pm; and Thursday-Saturday 10 am to 9 pm. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Emme's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
