Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Elvis. He is a sensitive fella who hasn't quite gotten used to his new environment. Elvis is a one year Jack Russell Terrier mix that can be nervous in new situations and prefers to take things slow so he can feel more comfortable in what is happening around him. Elvis will do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in his new home. With patience and lots of treats of course, Elvis may just open up and become a great addition to the household.  If there is a resident canine a pet meet will be essential prior to adoption. Elvis is a young fellow so his new family will have the opportunitiy to help him learn about being a pampered house dog and about being a great canine citizen.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
