The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Ellie (shelter #137454). She is an adorable seven year mainly black Border Collie/Beagle mix who is looking for a special home in which to spend her golden years. She is a sweet laid back girl who enjoys spending time with her family, Ellie will still need someone to help her get her daily exercise to keep her a happy and healthy girl. She has been around people and children for most of her life and is much happier when someone is around. So if you have room in your heart and home for a sweet older girl like her, you can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society's Westside Adoption Center at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland 53-245-4363. While at Lexi dog Ellie has been mingling and playing with the dogs who are there for doggie day care each day. Sunday, November 25th, is the last day of the Annual Black Friday Special at the Oregon Humane Society in which all adult black, or predomiminatly black, animals have 50 % off their adoption fee.
