The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Ellie (shelter #131632). This sweet year and half old Hound mix recently weaned a litter of nine pups and is now ready to find a forever home to call her own. Ellie is an energetic and happy girl that loves to go on runs; play fetch, and frolic with her canine buddies but also enjoys quiet time, curled up cuddling with her favorite people. Ellie can be a sensitive girl who is still learning what do to in new situations or when meeting new friends so will need someone who is willing to take the time and continue working on the training she has started.
