Duke (81974) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.

Duke is a sensitive ten year old Rat Terrier mix.  He is looking to find a quiet retirement home to settle into. He came to OHS due to no fault of his own - his previous family had someone else moving in and they didn't have the space for Duke too. Duke will need to find a home without children as he does not like to share his space. He is slow to adjust to people and other animals, so his new family will need to go slowly with him.

Duke's adoption fee is $55, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information.  All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption.  Visit Duke at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call 503-285-7722 for more information.
