The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Drona (shelter #137085). He is a eight year old Labrador mix looking for an active home that can provide him with the attention he deserves. He will need daily exercise, further training and lots of play time to keep him happy and healthy. Drona seems to have a good history with other dogs but may do best in a cat-free home as he may think they are a toy to chase. He has a good start to his basic manners but will greatly benefit from furthering his education and would benefit from attend the Basic Manners Class offered here. So if you are looking for a new best friend to take on your next adventure then Drona may be the guy for you. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10am to 7pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10am to 9pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half prior to closing each day.

Drona’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
