Dea: Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day

Dea is a three year old lady ready for the good life she deserves with lots of TLC. She will be shy at first, but once she gets to know her people, she loves to spend time with them. Dea will need a home with adults only or with older dog savvy children who would be able to respect her need for space. Dea's ready for a loving forever home!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of Day is Dea. She is three year old Sharpei that is ready to find a forever home that she can call her own. Dea is shy and will take a while to warm but, she may not be the bouncy pup that greats everyone at the door but she likes to sit next to her person and get love once she knows you. She needs an owner with lots of patience and someone who will let her open up at her own pace, but encourage her at the same time. We recommend that Dea be around mature children who will not push her boundaries and take things slow with her. Dea is ready to find someone special with which to spend the rest of her life. You can be the one to give this special lady a nice comfortable bed, good nutritious meals, good loving care and a family she can count on to show her what it is to be a pampered house pet for the rest of her life.  A medical and training consultation is included prior to Dea's adoption. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-258-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday; Adoption hours end at 6:30 on Sunday-Wednesday; and at 8:30 on Thursday-Saturday.

Dea's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject adoption.
