The Oregon Humane Society’s dog of the Day is Dakota (shelter #134842). She is an adorable eight year old shepherd mix that is looking for a special home to spend her golden years. Dakota doesn't always act very old, but her eyes are a bit cloudy. She loves to follow her nose and sniff at lots of things. Walks may be a little long so she can check everything out. Due to her age Dakota will need to go to a home with out young children. She was crate trained in her previous, so if this is kept up in her new home it can make her transition even smoother.
