The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Daisy (shelter #134227). She is a sweet and gentle nine year old Lhasa Apso who is in need of a special home that will be patient with her and allow her plenty of time to settle in. Daisy has not had much exposure to children and will do best in an adult only home or one with older, dog-savvy kids. She takes some time to warm up to new people but once she is comfortable she is very loving and enjoys sitting in a warm lap. She may do best as the only dog in the family however if there is a resident canine it will be essential to have a “pet meet” with Daisy prior to adoption. Daisy likes to go on daily outings around the neighborhood and be around her favorite people as much as possible. You can meet with Daisy at the Oregon Humane Society,
The adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
