The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Daisy. She is a sweet-natured lady who would make a rewarding companion. She loves to be loved and would be happiest with someone who can give her a lot of affection and attention. She is cute and likes to have her tummy rubbed. Daisy has coexisted with other cats in the past, and is currently living with other cats in Parkers Place at the shelter, but dogs unnerve her quite a bit. A home with no dogs and no small children would be ideal. Daisy would make a fitting companion for an older person or a quiet couple. Like most people, she can by shy in new situations and will need time to adjust to her new home. Daisy has a lot to offer so come and say hi and perhaps you'll fall in love! You can meet her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.
