Daisy Mae (shelter #12491) is the Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day. She a stunningly gorgeous older lady who can't wait to find her forever home with patient people who will provide her with all the love and care she deserves. Daisy can be nervous and unsure in new environments and with new people, so she will need ample time and reassurance while she adjusts. Daisy is very sweet, but is a bit stressed here at the shelter since she arrived on August 3rd. She can't wait to go home where she can finally relax and spend time with her new family. Daisy Mae peacefully coexisted with another cat and a dog in her previous home, but introductions to new pets will need to be taken slowly and patiently. Purrhaps you are the one to give Daisy Mae the good life? You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day.
Daisy Mae's adoption fee as a senior cat is $12 and includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
