The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Drake (108327), He is a very handsome and charming five year old Labrador/ Newfoundland mix. Drake likes to take his time meeting new people but once he is comfortable and confident with you and his new home he becomes a very loyal and dedicated companion. Because he is wary of strangers Drake will do best in a quiet, low traffic home where he can spend his time with the people he knows. Drake's new owner will need to be one that is patient, understanding and has canine experience. Patience is important with Drake as he is still learning how to live indoors, meet new people and take direction. Drake has lived with cats, dogs and children in his previous home and seemed to do well with them. Y ou will not find a more loving and loyal companion than Drake. A training consultation is included in his adoption. You can visit with Drake at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722). www.oregonhumane.org His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
