The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Dolly (118916). She is an active seven year old Terrier mix who is searching for an active home. It will be essential for her to find a companion that can keep her mentally and physically stimulated. Her enthusiasm and excitement for life is endearing but will need to be channeled into rigorous activities. If you are looking for a running, hiking, or any outdoor activity companion than we highly encourage Dolly. She will need continued basic training and socialization to keep her the best canine she can be. If you are looking for a dog that is always willing to take on that next adventure at a full sprint than Dolly may be the your best choice as a new partner. Dolly came to OHS from Saving Grace Shelter through the Second Chance Program. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722). Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday throught Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday through Sunday.
Dolly's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
