The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Dallas (124794). He is a happy, active two year old Australian Cattledog mix who is looking for a loving home. His number one love and source of joy in life appears to be derived from being close to those he loves. If you are looking for a canine companion to be by your side through thick and thin, Dallas is your man! He wants so badly to be with his people that he will jump low fences to go searching for them, and so should not be left outside alone. He also needs a home without cats as he finds them rather fun to chase. Dallas would greatly benefit from some basic manners training, such as what is offered at the Oregon Humane Society. He is a young fellow and will need activity to help him burn off all his energy! Dallas will make a running partner or be ready to become the next frisbee champ. If you like to go hiking Dallas just might think that's the best thing since canned dog food! He's got a lot of heart and a lot of love to give to his family. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end thirty minutes prior to closing each day.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
