The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Crystal Kitty Nova (shelter # 21389). She is a chatty lady who likes to let you know she is around. Crystal may be an older lady, but she still has lots of spunk in her and she enjoys playing with a laser pointer. She would enjoy going home to an older person with a quiet home so that she can be the spoiled only child. She is used to living around older children who know how cats do and don’t like to be picked up. Crystal isn’t particularly fond of being around other cats, but she can tolerate a cat savvy dog. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior toclosing each day.                                                                                                                                                                                                  Her special December Home for the Holidays adoption fee of $12 includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
