Cowgirl (shelter #140303) is the Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day. She is a one year old Beagle mix and is one of the dogs who arrived on December 27th from California just in time to celebrate the holiday season in the Metro Porrland area by finding her forever home. When she first got out of her kennel she appeared to be a very shy little girl, but after being reunited with some of her friends her true personality began to shine and she was a perfect dog to be located at our WESTSIDE ADOPTION CENTER at LexiDog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland, OR 97239 (503-245-4363). Here Cowgirl is joining the dogs (and other selected dogs from the Oregon Humane Society) that come for doggie day care along with the ones that are being boarded while their parents are on vacation. So we know she gets along well with other canine companions. Cowgirl is cute and loves the attention she gets from humans and all she wants to do is find a place to call her own home! If you have been searching for an outgoing, furry companion that you want to spoil then look no further. Cowgirl adores meeting new people and likes to go new places. She can't wait to see what the world has to offer her! Come meet her at Lexi Dog - adoption hours are: Monday-Friday 10-6; Saturday-Sunday 10-4. We are closed on New Years Day.
Cowgirl's special December (ends 12-31-2012) adoption fee of $50 includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
