The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Chico Charlie Brown (shelter #140555)! He is a sweet and loving little Chihuahua mix that can't wait to find his new best friend in life. This little fellow is looking for a place to call his own and a companion to spend lots of time with. Chico is full of energy and will enjoy going places with you and going for walks in the neighborhood as he becomes familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side.  Because of his small size he may do best in an adult home, or one with with one with older dog savvy children. If there is a resident canine in your household a pet meet will be essential prior to Chico's adoption. You can meet with this cute little fellow at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. For information about all dogs, cats and small animals at the Oregon Humane Society go to: www.oregonhumane.org.

Chico's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
