The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Chelsea (shelter #134096). She is a very beautiful girl five year old girl with her gorgeous eyes and pretty face. She has a shy personality and will need someone who can be patient with her while she adjusts to her new home. Chelsea may never be a social butterfly, but give her the TLC and patience she deserves and she'll make a wonderful companion for an adult-only home. She loves to snuggle and sleep in the bed with her family. She also enjoys playing with feather toys and has a good history with other cats and dogs. Chelsea has tested positive for FIV and because of this she'll need to be the only kitty or live with other FIV+ cats. Come see if you and Chelsea can become best friends! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10am to 7pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10am to 9pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Chelsea's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
