The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Cheetah. She is beautiful little torti point Balinese mix in search of a peaceful home. Though she is shy at first in unfamiliar situations, she enjoys attention once she gets to know you and feels secure. Her previous owners describe her as being playful, talkative, and a lap cat. She has lived with other cats before and got along nicely. She will probably do best in a home with older children. You can meet her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat.  Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.

Kittens are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here they all live in "colony rooms" with their fellow felines. Dogs are available at this location also.  They spend their days in a large group area with other dogs. Viewing and adoption hours for kittens and dogs are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday.
