Chaser (shelter # 79781)is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day. He is a big, loveable boy looking for an active and shepherd/labrador experienced home. Chaser would do best with dog-savvy children who can handle his size and not overwhelm him with attention. Chaser will benefit from continued training and socialization to work on his basic manners. He tends to bond strongly with his people and may become protective of them. Chaser appears to be house-trained and has a good foundation of training; something he hopes to continue working on in his new home. If you want a partner to join you on long walks, runs, or hikes, take a look at Chaser. He's bursting with energy and love for life! A training consultation is included prior to adoption. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
