Charlie seems to be rather sensitive about over-handling, and would prefer to receive love and attention when he wants it, so we strongly recommend that he go to a home with older children or adults only.

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Charlie (shelter#126521). He is an adorable three year old lad looking for love. He likes to bask in the sun, gaze out the window, and cuddle in warm laps. We do not have much history on him, but he seems to be very loving and affectionate on his own terms. Introductions to other animals in the home should be taken slowly to allow Charlie the time he needs to acclimate. Charlie seems to be rather sensitive about over-handling, and would prefer to receive love and attention when he wants it, so we strongly recommend that he go to a home with older children or adults only. This sweetie pie has a medical condition that requires him to have access to plenty of water and his litter box at all times. Come see if Charlie could be your new perfect companion! You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption
