Chanel is a very special lady, she definitely needs to live with only adults and no dogs. She will become your best friend on her terms, but you could say, she's just acting like a cat! Chanel does promise to add class to the household with her gorgeous looks!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Chanel. This three year old lady is one gorgeous vision and she knows it. Chanel is a refined, independent-natured lady who is accustomed to living a privileged life. She likes to take control of a situation and lives life according to the high standards she's held herself up to. Not being in a position of power makes her feel very uncomfortable and nervous, as she feels now by being in an unfamiliar shelter environment. She is a sensitive girl who is easily overstimulated by commotion and may nip when she's feeling unsure. We strongly believe that Chanel would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with absolutely no children and no dogs. Her new loved ones will need to understand that she is an introvert who generally occupies herself with her own business and shouldn't be pushed to be overly social. But she is indeed beautiful and can be loving on her terms to the people who are most dear to her. You can meet with Chanel at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are Sun-Wed 10-7 and Thurs-Sat 10-9. Adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30 and Thurs-Sat 10-8:30.

Chanel’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
