The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Casey. He has been DECLAWED SO MUST BE AN INDOORS ONLY kitty. Casey is ready to find a new best friend. He can be a bit shy at first and would do well in a quiet home, maybe adult home, where he can adjust at his own pace. Casey is a sweet boy that likes to get chin scratches and snuggle up with his friends. He knows that he is handsome but getting reminders is welcomed. Casey is a wonderful cat who is sure to bring smiles to any home.  You can meet him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat.  Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Casey’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days of PetPlan health insurance and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. The Oregon Humane Society’s Adoption Special of Two Cats for the adoption fee of one continues indefinitely.

Cats are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here they all live in "colony rooms" with their fellow felines. Dogs are available at this location also.  They spend their days in a large group area with other dogs. Viewing and adoption hours for cats and dogs are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday.
