The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Captain Bubba (shelter # 1441538). He is a wonderful Norwegian Forest mix kitty that is looking for the purrrrfect home. He has lovely long fur that will require a home where he will be regularly groomed. Captain Bubba can be a bit timid at first and may need some extra time to warm up to his new friends and home. Once he warms up and gains confidence he will blossom into a great friend. At the Oregon Humane Society this six year old fellow is living in Parkers Place with other cats and he seems to be getting along with them, however he may enjoy being the only cat in the household so he can have all of the attention and reign as king of the household. Captain Bubba weighs in at 21 pounds so will need to have his diet watched and give him lots of exercise playing. He enjoys playing with his toys and chasing the laser pointer as he is convinced that he’ll get it one day! You can meet with this fellow at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
