This lovely lady has been a stray and is now ready to live the good life of a pampered house cat! An adult only home may be best for her as she is a bit shy and noises seem to scare her. She does love to have her luxurious coat brushed!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Cameron. She is at our Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Doggie Day Care on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland 503-327-8219. Cameron is now getting a taste of the good life and looks forward to never having to fend for herself on the streets again! This lady is very sweet and easygoing but she is still very shy about her surroundings and accompanying noise. Cameron is a very nice cat and loves to have her long hair brushed. She is currently spending quite a bit of time cuddled on a soft cushion inside of a cube with round holes so she can peer out at her surroundings and will occasionally come out. Cameron is happy to have someone put a hand in to scratch her ears and give her pets. It takes her a while to relax with new people and may do best in an adult only home. Cameron is a young kitty, a year and eight months old, and seems to be very gentle. Once she has the chance to feel comfortable in her new home she will be ready to live the life of basking in the sunlight, stalking bugs and playing with cat toys. Invite this humble little gal into your home and enjoy the finer things in life together!

Visiting and adoption hours for cats at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center are 10 – 6:30 on Monday-Friday and 10-4:30 on Saturday-Sunday. Come visit Cameron today! Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
