Callie: Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day

Callie: Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day

This gal is a true beauty, you can see she's a bit frightened of having her photo taken. But take her home, give her time to become comfortable and her true personality will come out. She's do best in a quiet adult home with lots of love, a soft bed in a sheltered place to feel secure.

The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Callie (shelter # 141010). She is at our Westside Adoption Center located inside Lexi Dog at 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland 503-245-4363. She is a super cute little cat that is looking for the purrrfect home. She is having a hard time adjusting to live in her current situation but is very gradually getting used to being with other cats and in a situation other than a home. She spends a good part of the time under shelter, but loves getting petted and having her ears scratched. Callie likes her human friends and having a good time. She will want to be the princess and will definitely prefer to be in a home where she is the only cat.  Callie will want to have toys to play with so she can put on a show for her friends. She loves to be petted and will reward you with endless purrs! Callie will do best in an adult household, or one with older cat savvy children who will treat her gently and with the respect due her regal standing. She is a very special little kitty (only eight pounds) and will quickly win your heart. Visiting and adoption hours at our Westside Adoption Center are Monday to Friday 10-6; and Saturday/Sunday 10-4.

Callie's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
