Callay is a good looking young red tabby and her past people said she was an affectionate gal. Callay was also know for her ability to help with spring gardening! She has lived with other cats, but would be happiest as the only cat! Visit her today at the Oregon Humane Society and be ready to fall in love with her!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Callay. She is a beautiful little three year old lady with a fun personality. Her previous person tells us that she is very cuddly and affectionate. She likes to play and enjoys helping her person with gardening on sunny days. Although she did live with other cats before, she seemed not to enjoy their company very much and will do best as an only cat.  You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat.  Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days free PetPlan health insurance and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.

Cats are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here they all live in "colony rooms" with their fellow felines. Dogs are available at this location also.  They spend their days in a large group area with other dogs. Viewing and adoption hours for cats and dogs are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday.

Every Tuesday the Oregon Humane Society offers an adoption special for people age 60 and up. A select group of 20 pets will be available for adoption to seniors at no charge every Tuesday. All other pets will have their adoption fees reduced by $50 when they are adopted by individuals over 60 on Tuesday. The Oregon Humane Society’s Adoption Special of two cats/kittens for the adoption fee of one continues until further notice.
