The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Chicklet (121357).  He is a five Mini Pinscher mix who is looking for a warm lap to lie on.  It takes him a little time to trust new people in new places, but give him some time and hell be your best friend.  He really does enjoy getting out and about for daily bouts of exercise and play, and a Basic Manners class, like those offered here at OHS, would help further boost his confidence in new situations.  He come here with the hope of finding his forever home, and if you are looking for a small sweet dog, you may be  just the type of person he'll  want to spend forever with.  I came to OHS through their Second Chance program from Merced Co. Animal Control.  You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722.  Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday - Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday - Saturday.  Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Chicklet's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
