The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Cougar (107779). She is an adorable three year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who can't wait to find her perfect forever home! It takes Cougar about a minute to get comfortable, then she will be stuck to you like glue! In fact, Cougar really, really doesn't like being by herself and will need a home where she can be with her person at all times. Jack Russels like this lovely lady enjoy lots of exercise, games, and mental stimulation to keep them (and you) happy. Cougar also becomes a little possessive of her special person once she is comfortable, so she will need a home with a calm, confident companion who will help her feel more independent and not coddle her. Due to this part of her personality, Cougar will need a home without young children or too many visitors. You can visit with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
