The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Cosita (113921). She is a very loving and sweet little three year old Chihuahual. She is in looking for a special home that can provide her with plenty of time to settle in and adjust to her surroundings. Cosita will need a home with older children as she startles easily and can be sensitive to fast movements. Even tho she is tiny it is important for children not to treat her as a toy. Once Cosita is comfortable she loves to snuggle up on a warm lap and be showered with love. If there is a resident canine it will be necessary for her to have a pet met at the Oregon Humane Society to ensure the compatibility of the two dogs. Although Cosita is a little lady she will still need daily exercise and play time to keep her happy and healthy. Cosita came to OHS through our Second Chance Program from Baldwin Park L.A. Shelter and is looking forward to her new forever home with lots of loving care and the security of having a permanent home. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
Her adoption fee includes spay/, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
