The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Cooper (102676). He is a sweet and loving ten month old Dachshund. Cooper is blind, but he knows a good home when he smells one. He is searching for a lap and special home to call his own. He would love an owner who can help he learn all of his house manners. Cooper wants to find a calm and quiet enviourment and may do best in a home with another canine companion. He has lived with both cats and dogs in his previous home. He loves to play and chew on his toys as well as just hanging with his people. Cooper would also love to take daily strolls with you in the neighborhood, on leash of course. If you are looking for a wonderful best canine friend, then Cooper is the man for you. A training consultation is included prior to his adoption to help you learn all about Cooper and his special needs! You can meet with Cooper at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
