The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Chevy (108932).  He is a happy two year old Shepherd/Rottweiller mix that loves to receive all the attention in the world.  Chevy enjoys spending time with his favorite people and being involved in everything they do.  Chevy will do best in an active home that can provide him with daily exercise and further training. Chevy will also need a home without cats as he thinks it is fun to chase them.  Because of his size he will do better with older children and if already have canine friends they will need to accompany you for a pet meet with Chevy.  He has spent most of his life living outdoors and is ready to enjoy the luxuries of indoor living.  Chevy will need help with this transition but with guidance and patience he will make a great indoor companion.  You can meet with Chevy at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722) www.oregonhumane.org

His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
