The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Cherie (122367). She is a cute little two and half years old Terrier mix that is pretty nervous with new people and new places. But once she gest to spend some time with her people it's easier for her to show how much she loves them. Cherie will do best with adults or with older children who can be patient with her and know that at this time she doesn't want to be fussed with a lot. It will take her a while before she is ready to play. Once Cherie is all settled in you will be able see her real personality come out. If you have a resident canine friend it will be necessary to have a pet meet prior to adoption. Just take the time to check her out! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoption services end one half hour prior to closing each day. www.oregonhumane.org.
Cherie's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
